Frenchman Franck Daux scored an incredible 19 under par to win the Alamos Classic by 4 shots from Portugal’s Ricardo Santos.
Daux holed his second shot at the eighteenth in the first round to shoot an incredible 11 under par 60 to take just a 2 shot lead into the second round ahead of Paul Kinnear who scored a very respectable 9 under par 62.
Daux continued his good play in the second round and added an 8 under par to post the winning score and what we believe is a possible record equalling score for 36 holes.
The Alamos course is part of the Morgado complex and provides another 18 holes to enjoy on this fantastic Nau Golf and resorts set-up that also includes the Salgados course and 5 star Salgados Palace Hotel.
