Portugal’s Pedro Figueiredo continued his run of good form to win the Mogado Classic by a single shot from fellow countryman Tomás Silva over the course which will host the Nau Golf and Resorts “Open de Portugal” later on in May.
Figueiredo almost gave the tournament away when, with a 3 shot lead with 3 holes to play he bogied the last 2 to just scrape over the line by the single shot.
The course at Morgado is undergoing some alterations in order to accommodate the Open de Portugal but non-the less was in excellent condition and played very well.
The hotel accommodation is truly magnificent, as is the food on offer both for breakfast and dinner in the hotel dining room and the friendly clubhouse.
