Challenge Tour’s Aaron Rai won the Penina Classic by 3 shots from Ricardo Santos and Jamie Abbott with a 10 under par total of 136.
Rai scored rounds of 69 and 67 to get the better of local Portuguese hero Ricardo Santos who had rounds of 70 and 69 to tie Jamie Abbott (68-71) for second place.
It was a pleasure to return to Penina, not only because of the fabulous golf course but also the hotel which is of the highest standard.
We will be returning to Penina for the final event of Swing 4 and look forward to another tournament over this historic Henry Cotton designed course.
